1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
get off north america, pierce my eyebrow, crash a car, go to university, fail a test, pull a real all nighter writing an essay, regularly do my own laundry, break my wrist ... the list goes on.

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i don't normally make resolutions.

3. Did someone close to you give birth?
no, not this year, but my sister will be birthing a baby in march 2007

4. Did anyone close to you die?
no

5. What countries did you visit?
germany, austria, czech republic, and the united states of america

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
foresight

7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
april - that entire month my life was taken over by the production of grease
may 20th - turning 18 in europe
september - starting university, meeting my roommates & starting the crazyness that is living without parental supervision
dec 25th - getting adah, kelvin and michael as christmas gifts

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
learning that sometimes being myself is enough

9. What was your biggest failure?
not respecting people who deserve my respect

just a broken wrist in feb.

mr. happy shoes

justin timberlake. three words: saturday, night, live.

britney spears. seriously, i thought she was cleaning up her act. and then she dropped the vagina flash. come on, britney!! i expect more.

school, food, and christmas presents

europe, canada's day free concert, visiting mac, christmas

i don't really remember how i felt last year around this time

there are too many but here we go: regina spektor, imogen heap, fishboy, gym class heroes, the matches, mylo, the hush sound, the knife, jack's mannequin, freezepop, zolof the rock and roll destroyer, gregory and the hawk, hot chip, fort minor, futureheads...and those are just the best of's...

more family time

to figure out what i want to do/who i am.

the science of sleep

i was in europe, taking in the sights. i turned 18.

i dunno, 2006 was pretty damned good.

first half - indie prep mixed with who-cares-i'm-a-senior

i rekindled my love for justin timberlake

nothing in particular stirred me. but i kept up with the war in iraq. i guess that's just how desensitized i got to the whole mess.
